Job Description

Seeking experienced, detail-oriented assemblers for a growing manufacturer in North Kingstown! $22/hour and up, depending on experience. The Production Assembler will assemble products and components according to work instructions using hand tools or machines, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean and organized work area within a manufacturing environment.

• Follow all safety and company guidelines and procedures as outlined in the company employee manual.
• Follow work orders and work instructions to assemble components and products.
• Accurately pull inventory based on the warehouse location and gather supplies needed to fulfill a production order
• Record inventory and work order updates to inventory system
• Willingness to improve assembly procedures
• Use a shared computer software system to print appropriate labels for work orders
• Use tools and equipment necessary to complete a work order
• Perform quality checks on material being handled based on product knowledge
• Train and work together with other members of the production departments
• Restock shelves and keep inventory organized as required
• Ensure safe use of equipment, tools, and work in an ergonomic manner
• Maintain communication with other employees
• General cleaning and tidiness of all aspects of the factory and warehouse
• Assist in maintaining safety records, general maintenance, and logs
• Assist with general tasks and activities, as needed

• Basic computer skills & ability to be trained (Windows, Microsoft, QuickBooks, NiceLabel)
• Ability to work ergonomically and safely with hand and power tools
• Communication (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of assembly experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
