Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm , is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its growing Privacy & Cyber Litigation Practice Group . This is an outstanding opportunity for a mid-level litigator to work at the forefront of data privacy and cybersecurity litigation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The position is open in multiple of the firm’s offices nationwide and offers the chance to contribute to high-stakes litigation with national implications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of complex litigation matters, with a focus on privacy and cyber-related issues.
  • Lead factual investigations and discovery efforts in active cases.
  • Draft high-quality pleadings, motions, and briefs in response to litigation developments.
  • Represent clients in depositions, negotiations, and hearings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop and execute case strategies.
  • Maintain strong and trusted client relationships across a variety of industries and case types.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
  • 3–5 years of substantive experience in litigation and case management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading fact investigations, researching legal issues, and developing litigation strategies
  • Proficient in drafting pleadings (including answers), motions to dismiss, and motions for summary judgment.
  • Experience conducting and defending depositions and negotiating with opposing counsel.
  • Comfortable managing day-to-day case activity and client communications with limited supervision.
  • Experience with the Fair Credit Reporting Act or other privacy-related statutes is highly desirable.
  • Federal judicial clerkship experience is preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent legal writing, research, communication, and analytical skills are essential.
