Physician Assistant

Boulder Valley Center for Dermatology is seeking a licensed physician assistant to join our team! We are an independent and locally owned dermatology practice. The physician assistant works with our staff physicians in performing examinations, diagnosing conditions, and offering treatments. He or she should be caring and passionate about providing exceptional patient care. This position will provide in-person and telehealth visits and requires travel to offices located in Lafayette, Brighton, and Boulder, CO. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively multi-task and prioritize in a busy clinic setting.

Compensation

$90,000 - $125,000, depending on qualifications and experience

Classification - Exempt

Schedule: This is a full-time position with varying hours (totaling 40 hours per week). Employee must be available Monday - Friday 7:45A - 6:00P and one to two Saturdays per month, working from 8:00A - 1:00P

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Work is performed in an interior medical/clinical environment. The environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average weight objects up to 25 pounds and standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.

Travel

This position requires travel to satellite offices, an unexpired driver's license and reliable transportation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Completion of a physician assistant program
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a physician assistant in Colorado
  • 3+ years physician assistant experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Satisfactory passing of a post-offer, pre-employment criminal background check
