Job Description

A confidential healthcare organization is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join its Wellness & Outreach Services team in Temecula, CA. The CMA will support licensed providers by performing clinical and administrative duties that ensure patients receive safe, efficient, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients, take vital signs, and document information in the EHR system
  

• Collect health histories and notify providers of any critical information immediately
  

• Perform electrocardiograms (EKG) and assist with exams, procedures, and treatment preparation
  

• Provide patients with discharge plans, lab orders, and follow-up instructions while answering questions clearly and professionally
  

• Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring charts, medication lists, and referrals are complete each day
  

• Assist with lab and diagnostic test requisitions and ensure documentation accuracy
  

• Clean and restock exam rooms between patients and at the end of the day
  

• Uphold patient confidentiality and maintain professional communication standards
  

• Support overall clinic workflow and patient-centered service culture
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  

• MediClear (or equivalent) certification required
  

• BLS certification (required within 60 days of hire)
  

• Proficiency with computers, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  

• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  

• 1+ year of healthcare/clinical experience preferred
  

• Spanish language proficiency a plus
